How long does it take to generate a bid?
Most bids are generated within 15-30 minutes. Complex tenders with many questions may take up to an hour. Compare this to the days or weeks it typically takes to write a bid manually.
Do I still need to review the responses?
Yes, always. MyBidTeam generates high-quality drafts, but you should review every response to ensure accuracy, add specific details, and make sure it sounds like your business. The AI helps you write faster - it doesn't replace your expertise.
What types of contracts does it work for?
MyBidTeam works best for service contracts in the £30k-£150k range - cleaning, maintenance, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, security, and similar trades. It's designed for the types of contracts SME tradespeople typically bid on.
Data & Security
Do I need to tell the buyer I used AI?
Currently, most UK public sector tenders do not require disclosure of AI assistance. However, some tenders may ask specifically - always read the instructions carefully. We recommend being honest if asked directly. The content is yours; AI is just a tool you used to create it.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely in the UK/EU using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase (built on AWS) for data storage. Your tender documents and business information are never shared with third parties or used to train AI models.
Can other users see my bids or business information?
No. Your account is completely private. We do not share, sell, or expose your data to other users. Each customer's information is isolated and protected.
What happens to my data if I stop using the service?
Your data remains in your account until you delete it. You can export your information at any time. If you request account deletion, we remove all your data within 30 days as required by GDPR.
Pricing & Value
How much does it cost?
We offer two options: £599 per bid (one-off payment for a single tender) or £999/year for unlimited bids. Finding opportunities and browsing contracts is always free.
Why should I pay this when ChatGPT is free?
ChatGPT doesn't understand UK public sector procurement. MyBidTeam is trained on how tenders are evaluated, what scoring criteria mean, and how to structure responses that hit the marks. Generic AI produces generic answers that evaluators see through immediately.
How does this compare to hiring a bid writer?

What if my bid doesn't win?
We offer a "Didn't Win? Next Bid Free" guarantee. If you use MyBidTeam and don't win the contract, your next bid is on us. Just report the outcome within 90 days with evidence (like the buyer's notification).

Can I try it before paying?
Yes. You can search and browse opportunities for free, and we offer a demo that shows you exactly how the bid generation works. You only pay when you're ready to generate responses for a real tender.
What do I need to get started?
Just the tender documents (usually a PDF or Word file with the questions) and basic information about your business - company details, relevant experience, and any certifications or policies you hold. The more you add to your profile, the better your responses will be.
How do I upload tender documents?
Click "Start Bidding", then drag and drop your tender PDF or Word document. Our AI extracts the questions automatically. You can also paste questions directly if you prefer.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. If you can use email and fill in a form, you can use MyBidTeam. We've designed it for busy tradespeople, not tech experts.
